Job Description

As the first technical hire, you will architect and build an AI-native platform transforming insurance capacity management. Moving from manual 12-week workflows to real-time allocation, you'll design the canonical data model, integrate complex APIs, and ship the MVP. This is a high-impact, co-builder role shaping the technical DNA of a category-defining fintech.

What You Will Do

Architect and build the core platform from scratch, establishing engineering best practices, security foundations, and compliance-aware system design. Develop the canonical data model and integrate external data sources to power an intelligent, AI-native capacity allocation layer. Collaborate directly with the CEO to translate commercial goals into technical execution while shipping production code and onboarding early customers.

The ideal candidate

Proven track record as a founding or early engineer in a startup environment, with the ability to build and ship products from the ground up. Deep full-stack development expertise combined with practical AI/ML experience, specifically in document extraction, NLP, or LLM integrations. Strong background in regulated industries like fintech or insurance, with experience building complex multi-party marketplace or orchestration systems.
