Role Summary We’re looking for a confident, experienced Front of House team member who knows their way around both the bar and the floor — someone who can shake a cocktail, carry three plates, and still have a great chat with guests. You’ll be at the heart of the action, creating a welcoming, lively atmosphere and making sure every guest leaves happier than when they arrived.

What Success Looks Like You’ll thrive in a busy service, keep your cool under pressure, and deliver consistently brilliant service with a smile. Guests will remember you, your team will rely on you, and managers will trust you. You’ll help drive a buzzing atmosphere, strong sales, and great reviews — all while enjoying what you do.

How This Role Fits Into the Organisation You’re a key player on the team and a big part of the pub’s personality. You’ll support management, set the tone on shift, and help newer team members find their feet. For the right person, this role is a stepping stone — we actively support development, with clear opportunities to progress into supervisory and management roles.

Responsibilities Deliver warm, upbeat, and memorable service that keeps guests coming back Confidently switch between bar and table service, owning your section and supporting the wider team Take orders with accuracy and personality, making recommendations and up selling naturally Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, from a perfect pint to a great G&T Keep your area looking spot-on — clean, organized, and ready for service Handle guest feedback with professionalism and positivity, turning challenges into great experiences Work closely with the kitchen and management team to keep service smooth and efficient Support opening and closing duties, including cash handling and set-up/close-down Stay knowledgeable about menus, specials, and allergens Lead by example and help bring energy, motivation, and team spirit to every shift

Qualifications Experience in a busy pub, bar, or restaurant — you know what good looks like Confidence across both bar and floor service Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with guests Calm under pressure with a “get stuck in” attitude Good attention to detail and pride in your work Understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing laws Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Confidence handling payments and working with tills A genuine passion for hospitality — you enjoy making people’s day
