Full Stack .NET Developer

Job Title: Full Stack .NET Developer Location: London Position Type: Contract

Overview We are seeking a versatile Full Stack .NET Developer with strong backend and frontend expertise, who is comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools as part of their daily workflow. The ideal candidate will be confident working across all tiers of the stack, deploying solutions in Azure, and contributing to a modern DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# / .NET.
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React (or Angular/Vue).
• Design and query relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Integrate AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) into daily development practices.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure (App Services minimum).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Write and maintain unit and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver iterative solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• C# / .NET backend development expertise
• React (or equivalent frontend framework)
• SQL relational database design and querying (Postgres preferred)
• AI-assisted development tools as part of workflow
• Azure deployment and environment management
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Unit & automated testing

Should-Have Skills

• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps)
• Full stack confidence across all tiers
• Insurance domain knowledge
• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates)
• Agile/Scrum experience
