Graduate Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join a market-leading trading firm within the Accounting department, where you'll gain practical experience across core accounting functions and work with ambitious professionals who will support your growth. The role provides hands-on training, financial study support and mentorship towards your Accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA), and exposure to a variety of finance functions led by high-achievement teams.

Your responsibilities include: Supporting the EU and US regional Finance Operations Assisting with accounts payable, reconciling and processing payments Supporting month-end activities and internal reporting Engaging with internal stakeholders and participating in process improvement initiatives Gaining exposure to tax processes, compliance and international accounting standards Ad-hoc support to cover colleagues and gain exposure to new areas across the finance department

Requirements for the role: Recently completed or close to completing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or a related technical field (2025 - 2026) Practical experience in a similar Finance role (placement years, etc) Intention to pursue an accounting qualification and learn the fundamentals of Operational Finance Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take initiative
