Graduate Civil Engineer

Natta Building Company is a progressive civil engineering contractor with over 50 years of industry experience. Due to a strong workload and continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team on a project based in Horsham.

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Civil Engineer at Natta, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, gaining hands-on experience across multiple civil engineering sectors. This role is site-based and will provide exposure to both principal contractor and sub-contractor activities, with opportunities to participate in elements of design. You will be supported on the path to achieving Chartered Engineer status through our ICE-approved training program.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with the planning, management, and execution of civil engineering projects on site. Coordinate with project teams, workforce, and clients, ensuring clear communication and accurate work delivery. Use Microsoft Office proficiently; CAD skills are beneficial. Operate and learn to use the latest robotic EDM equipment. Manage your own workload effectively while contributing to team goals. Support project management activities, with training and guidance provided. Ensure work accuracy both on site and in the office to meet company standards.

Candidate Requirements: Civil Engineering degree recognized by the ICE. Applicants with non-UK degrees must provide ICE acceptance confirmation. Desire to work toward Chartered Engineer status via an ICE-approved training scheme. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues, clients, and site teams. Practical site skills suited to hands-on work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is an advantage. Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Legal right to live and work in the UK.
