Graduate Finance / Data Analyst Reporting to: Commercial Finance Manager Location: Manchester Contract: 6 months FTC

We’re looking for a Graduate Finance / Data Analyst to join the team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment.

You’ll work closely with experienced finance professionals, supporting key analytical activities and contributing to real business decisions from day one.

This role is based in Manchester, and we’re looking for candidates who are already located in the area. You’ll be expected to work onsite three days per week, giving you the opportunity to collaborate closely with the team while maintaining some flexibility.

The Role

During your time with us, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of commercial finance and data analysis activities, including: Reviewing and maintaining pricing data Preparing reports and insights for key stakeholders Supporting the creation of management presentations Assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes Building and maintaining financial models Extracting and analysing data from multiple systems Conducting sector and competitor analysis Supporting standard cost calculations and purchase price accuracy Monitoring and allocating distribution costs across Europe Supporting testing activities as part of S/4HANA implementation

Abou You

We’re looking for someone who is curious, driven, and ready to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

You’ll likely be: A recent graduate (or early in your career) in Finance, Economics, Data, or a related field Highly analytical with strong numerical skills Comfortable working with large and complex datasets Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation) Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership Proactive, with the confidence to ask questions and challenge where needed Able to work both independently and as part of a team A strong communicator, both written and verbal Motivated to learn and develop in a commercial finance environment

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading global FMCG business, where you’ll be exposed to real commercial finance decision-making from the outset.

You’ll work across EMEA markets, developing a strong understanding of how finance supports business performance in a complex, international environment. Along the way, you’ll build both your technical capabilities and your confidence in business partnering, all within a supportive team that is genuinely focused on helping you learn, grow, and develop quickly.
