Position: Grocery Shopper Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $35 - $50/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Select and procure grocery products for retail and wholesale operations. Analyze market trends, consumer demand, and competitor offerings. Negotiate pricing and supplier agreements to maximize profitability. Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and availability. Monitor inventory levels and address stock risks proactively. Develop category-specific buying strategies for different product types. Communicate insights and decisions clearly to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Strong experience in retail, wholesale, procurement, or grocery buying. Expertise in product selection, negotiation, and purchasing strategies. Strong analytical skills for market and consumer trend evaluation. Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong inventory management capabilities. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
