We are currently recruiting for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join a successful and growing organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role within the finance team, offering broad responsibility across group reporting, controls, and financial management, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of group management accounts and reporting packs. Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Manage and maintain key financial controls across the group. Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and support decision-making. Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis where required. Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial governance. Support statutory reporting and audit processes during the contract period. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
Candidate Profile: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong experience in group finance, financial reporting, or a similar senior finance role. Excellent technical accounting knowledge. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Confident working to deadlines in a dynamic environment. Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail. Experience with ERP or finance systems would be advantageous.
