We are launching a new Indian restaurant in London inspired by the spirit of Old Delhi. Expect bold flavours, layered spices, and a vibrant, contemporary dining experience.

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, shape the menu, and build a high-performing team from the ground up.


About the Role As Head Chef, you will take full ownership of the kitchen. You will be responsible for menu development, team leadership, cost control, and consistency. This is an opportunity to create a distinctive Indian dining experience that balances authenticity with modern presentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a menu rooted in North Indian and Old Delhi cuisine
  • Lead, train, and manage the kitchen team including Sous Chef, CDPs, and Commis
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and speed during service
  • Manage food costs, portioning, and supplier relationships
  • Oversee kitchen operations, hygiene, and compliance with EHO standards
  • Collaborate with management on seasonal updates and specials
  • Maintain strong systems for prep, inventory, and wastage control

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong expertise in Indian cuisine with tandoor experience preferred
  • Experience working in the UK or internationally is preferred
  • Ability to standardise recipes and scale operations
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to build and motivate a team
  • Strong commercial awareness including food cost, margins, and supplier negotiation
