Head of Admissions and Marketing Location: Central London Salary: £55,000 per annum Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity Are you a strategic, commercially minded marketing leader with a passion for education? A prestigious and creative prep school located in the heart of the City of London is seeking a Head of Admissions and Marketing to join their Senior Leadership Team.

In this pivotal role, you will shape the school’s long-term brand positioning, drive pupil recruitment, and ensure an exceptional journey for prospective families in a highly competitive market. You will provide strategic oversight and professional leadership to a Marketing Assistant, ensuring a cohesive and polished approach to all school communications.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a three-year marketing and admissions strategy aligned with the school’s ambitious growth goals. Brand & Campaign Management: Lead the school’s narrative and brand positioning, delivering high-impact multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, PPC, and print). Admissions Excellence: Oversee the entire admissions pipeline, from initial enquiry to enrolment, optimising conversion rates and the customer journey at every touchpoint. Digital Innovation: Drive the digital strategy, including website UX, SEO, and social media storytelling, while introducing modern tools like virtual tours. Business Development: Build and maintain vital relationships with local nurseries, corporate partners, relocation agents, and international consultants. Data & Insights: Utilise data-driven KPIs to track ROI, provide accurate admissions forecasting, and report on market trends to the Senior Leadership Team. Public Relations: Manage the school’s reputation, leading PR initiatives and proactive media engagement to elevate the school's profile.

About You We are looking for a visionary leader who combines creativity with analytical rigour. To be successful, you will likely possess: Significant experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally within the independent school sector or a high-end professional services environment. A proven track record of delivering strategic marketing plans with measurable outcomes. A deep understanding of the independent school landscape and parent expectations. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at a senior level. Experience in managing budgets, external agencies, and small teams. Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
