Head of Operations - Traffic Management
We Are Hiring!
We are Hiring a Head Of Operations to join our Traffic Management division.
As Head of Operations, you will implement the correct processes and practices across the organisation including formulating strategy, improving performance (including system and process improvements), procuring resources and securing compliance.
Reporting to UK Operations Director, Head of Operations will ultimately be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of all Traffic Management depots in England, which includes depots in Aylesbury, Swindon, Somerset, and Cornwall. The Head of Operations role includes managing the supply partners, working in collaboration with our Telco division and ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
This will include coordinating the internal structure of the organisation based on company policies, goals and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met consistently.
Responsibilities to include:

Overseeing the day to day running of various depots in England.

Deploying resources to specific traffic management tasks/activities.

Ensuring strict processes are maintained to the highest standard throughout the business where health & safety is priority.

Attend & chair regular management meetings.

Report to directors on various KPIs in relation to company growth & performance.

Manage Operations Managers at each said depot.

Manage operational supply chain including goods/services obtained.

Work closely with the Contracts Department to ensure all activities are efficiently and safely carried out within an awareness of budgets.

Works in collaboration with our clients to ensure delivery whilst maintaining the highest of standards.

Monitor & Control fleet on a day to day basis whilst working closely with the transport department.

Drive profitability and cost optimisation.

Manage risk, compliance and quality standards.

Oversee all recruitment throughout each depot.

Build processes for rapid growth or restructuring.

Drive continuous improvement in Operations.

Willing to travel and stay away from home.

Identify appropriate candidates and grow our operational resource pool according to our workstreams.
