HGV 1 Recovery Driver (Nights)

We are seeking an experienced HGV Recovery Driver with mechanical knowledge to join our roadside assistance team in Cambridgeshire.

Provide vehicle recovery and roadside support for breakdowns, collisions, and repairs, often working nights on a 4 on 4 off schedule or rotating night shifts. Use a fully equipped service van, dispatch jobs via PDA, and manage tasks from breakdown to completion, often working outdoors in challenging conditions. Perform vehicle recovery operations, including winching, lifting, towing, slide bed recovery, and on-site repairs. Complete documentation and diagnostics, with knowledge of commercial vehicle fault finding and basic mechanical repairs. Must hold an HGV licence, Driver CPC, and relevant heavy vehicle maintenance qualifications; ADR entitlement is preferred. Require strong communication skills, team collaboration, initiative, and a positive attitude toward customer service.
