Higher Level Teaching Assistant

NJC Scale 5 £15.06 - £16.08 per hour

32 hours per week

Term time plus PD Days

A wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, high quality higher level teaching assistant to join our hard working, friendly team. We are seeking to appoint a an experienced HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school. This role is a combination of covering PPA and management time across the primary phase and some in class group support.

Candidates will need to have a good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum and have experience of teaching classes of pupils.

The successful applicant will:

Be an excellent practitioner. Have the knowledge to meet the requirements of children with a wide range of needs and abilities. Be highly motivated, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest possible standard of pupil achievement and behaviour management. Have the ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. Ideally to start as soon as possible
