The Vacancy

We are recruiting a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team in our 24/7 supported housing services in Carmarthen.

You will support young people aged 16–24 with complex needs by providing practical and emotional support (no personal care involved). The aim of the service is to help individuals build confidence, develop independence, and move on to their own accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

Support young people with day-to-day living and independent skills Provide emotional support and build positive, trusting relationships Encourage personal development and positive outcomes Work as part of a team to maintain a safe and structured environment Follow support plans and contribute to residents’ progress

About You

Experience in a similar is desirable but not essential (full training provided) Compassionate, patient, and resilient in your approach Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is an advantage Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Working Hours & Pay

Average of 24 hours per week on a rolling 4 week rota Shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins Additional pay for sleep-in shifts

Enhanced DBS check (Adult & Child Workforce) required – paid by the employer where applicable
