Collaborate with the Founder to architect the People strategy for a high-impact DEI startup. You will be pivotal in suggesting best practices and guiding the creation of our HR skeleton, ensuring our mission to bridge the experience gap is built into our very foundations.

As a one-year-old CIC, eLID Hub is at a critical "inflection point." We have proven our model of bridging the experience gap for underrepresented groups, but to reach the next thousand people, we must transition from a founder-led project to a sustainable, professional organization.

Architecting the Bedrock You will be the strategic brain behind our HR "skeleton." By suggesting best practices and providing proven frameworks, you aren’t just "doing HR"—you are building the professional, ethical, and compliant infrastructure that will support every employee and volunteer we ever hire. Empowering Through Professionalism Our mission is to bridge the "experience gap." By helping us professionalize our operations, you are directly increasing our capacity and credibility, allowing us to provide higher-quality workshops and bootcamps to those who need them most. The Design-to-Build Multiplier Your contribution creates a ripple effect. By brainstorming with the Founder and guiding our People & Culture Officer, you are ensuring that expert-level strategy is translated into practical action. You are setting the standard of excellence for how eLID Hub operates internally.

Ultimately, your involvement provides the strategic maturity we need to scale. You are the bridge between our vision of social equity and the practical reality of running a world-class organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing a robust Governance framework as we recruit our first Board of Directors and Trustees, ensuring eLID Hub is led with transparency, integrity, and strategic depth.

What are we looking for?

Strategic Seniority You have 10+ years of HR experience (as an HRBP, Head of HR, or Consultant) and are comfortable designing high-level "People Strategies." Expert Contributor You have a "toolkit" of best practices and are willing to suggest or provide proven templates (policies, handbooks, frameworks) to jumpstart the build process. Collaborative Brainstormer You enjoy the creative "whiteboard" phase of a startup and can translate a DEI mission into professional HR governance. Mentorship Mindset You are comfortable guiding a mid-level professional (the HR Officer) to ensure quality and compliance without being a bottleneck. Mission Alignment You have a deep understanding of DEI and want to apply your professional seniority to help underrepresented talent succeed.

What will you be doing?

In this 12-week sprint, you will act as the strategic guide for our "People & Culture" workstream. This is a collaborative, hands-on leadership role.

Strategic Brainstorming Partner with the Founder to turn the "Experience Bridge" vision into formal HR pillars. Expert Contribution Suggest proven templates and frameworks from your own experience to jumpstart our infrastructure. Collaborative Guidance Work alongside a People & Culture Officer to ensure policies are practical, compliant, and mission-aligned. Governance Identify compliance gaps and set the professional tone for our organizational scaling.
