HTP Clinical Project Support Officer
Job Overview
Be part of one of the most significant transformation programmes at Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust.
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Project Support Officer to join the Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP), a high-profile initiative shaping future hospital services.
This is not a routine administrative role. You will support a fast-paced programme delivering major service change and capital developments, working with senior clinicians, managers and programme leads.
You will help ensure smooth delivery by coordinating meetings, maintaining documentation, supporting project planning and enabling effective communication across workstreams. Acting as a central point of contact, you will manage priorities and resolve day-to-day challenges.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, builds strong relationships and delivers accurate, professional work. You will be proactive, well organised, confident using IT systems, and able to manage competing demands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
