Job title: HR Consultant

Hybrid role (HU3, Hull)

Main purpose of job: To deliver high-quality, people-first HR consultancy services to Enablement Group clients, supporting businesses to manage, develop and retain their workforce effectively. The role will provide practical, commercially focused HR advice, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and contribute to client satisfaction, retention and growth.

Main tasks of job:

  1. HR Advisory & Compliance

Provide expert HR advice and guidance to clients across a range of sectors, ensuring alignment with current UK employment legislation. Support clients with employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and absence management. Draft, review and update HR policies, procedures, contracts and handbooks. Ensure clients remain compliant with employment law and best practice. Support with complex casework, escalating where appropriate. 2. Client Management & Delivery

Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their key HR contact. Deliver retained and project-based HR services in line with agreed scopes. Conduct HR audits, health checks and provide recommendations for improvement. Support client onboarding to ensure a smooth and professional experience. Attend client meetings (virtual and in-person) including review meetings and strategy sessions. 3. People Development & Strategic Support

Support clients with organisational design, workforce planning and restructuring. Assist in developing performance management frameworks, KPIs and appraisal systems. Deliver or support training sessions for managers on HR best practice. Contribute to the development of client benefits, engagement and retention strategies. Provide proactive, forward-thinking HR solutions aligned to client business goals. 4. Business Growth & Contribution

Identify opportunities to add value to existing clients and support service expansion. Contribute to proposals, pitches and onboarding packs for new clients. Support marketing activity through content ideas, case studies and insights. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Represent Enablement Group at networking events, workshops and client sessions where required.
