Interim Chief Compliance Officer

Major, Lindsey & Africa are working with a large industrial manufacturing company looking to grow its global compliance function. This is initially a 6-month position looking for someone to start ASAP, but with a very high likelihood of being extended and potentially made permanent in the long run. Candidates with a legal background are preferred, but they will also consider those with strong experience of supporting and managing global compliance programmes.

Working closely with their Global Head of Compliance, the main focus of the work will be on ethics and investigations, regulatory compliance and trade/ export compliance, initially across EMEA, but with the long-term vision of this being a global role. In addition, the role will involve building out their internal compliance processes and frameworks.

For this position, they need someone hands-on who has experience working across EMEA and APAC, and who can make a meaningful contribution to their growing team.

Requirements: 8+ years of Compliance experience Strong experience across investigations, regulatory compliance and trade compliance Background in industrial, manufacturing, chemicals or FMCG sectors preferred Experience operating in a global environment Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset
