Job Overview The Client Services Business Management and Analytics function (BMA) supports the Global Client Services team, partnering with CS leads and finance teams to manage its overall performance and cost targets through the monthly production of KPIs, ExCo reporting, headcount tracking, and monthly cost reconciliation including T&E. It is responsible for the development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports, Excel Reports, and other tools working with cross-functional teams across Osttra’s suite of products. The analytics team support the Client Service leadership in providing transparency across their key risk indicators in order to manage their business and maintain a robust control framework, in addition to ExCo reporting and escalation through appropriate metrics/forums; it is pivotal in monitoring and measuring overall productivity and output, and ensuring that cost targets are met with risks effectively mitigated, or communicated and managed. The Junior Business Management Associate will play a critical role in supporting the daily operational and financial execution of the Client Services business unit. This role requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing essential administrative, financial, and personnel-related processes. This role serves as an ideal entry point for a candidate seeking to understand the inner workings of a fintech business, offering unparalleled exposure to Osttra’s suite of products and core functional areas Duties & accountabilities Headcount Management: Manage and track current organizational headcount, working in partnership with HR and recruiting teams to ensure accurate reporting of team composition and organizational structure changes. Budget Tracking: Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of the departmental budget, meticulously tracking actual expenditures against planned forecasts and identifying variances. T&E Tracking and Management: Oversee the tracking and processing of Travel & Expense (T&E) reports for the business unit, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and guidelines. Financial Reporting: Help prepare regular, accurate, and insightful reports on budget status, T&E metrics, and operational performance for review by business managers and senior leadership. Provide administrative and logistical support and coordinate key operational meetings. Coordination and preparation of town hall material, newsletters, team communications, DL management and adhoc presentations for Client Services leadership. Fulfil any additional adhoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business Personal Qualities Streamlining Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies in operational processes and implement solutions to automate, simplify, and improve workflow efficiency. Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel).and Looker Studio (preferable) Willingness to learn about data and reporting suites published through tools such as PowerBi, Tableau, and Google Looker. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and reliable financial and operational data. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills, necessary for presenting data and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, HR, etc.). A proactive, self-starter with a desire to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
