Junior Full Stack Engineer

Junior Full Stack Developer Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience) Location: Whiteley, PO15 7PA (office based) Type: Full-time

We’re looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build and maintain internal business systems, some of which are client-facing. This is a great opportunity for a developer with solid fundamentals who’s keen to grow their skills and get hands-on experience across the full development stack. You’ll be working on real-world systems that support day-to-day business operations, collaborating closely with internal teams and experienced developers.

What You’ll Be Doing Developing and maintaining internal web applications and client-facing systems Building responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React Assisting with backend services and RESTful APIs Working with databases to store and manage application data Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions Troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and improving performance Contributing to code reviews and following best development practices

What We’re Looking For Good working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) Experience with a frontend framework such as React (commercial or personal projects) Basic understanding of RESTful APIs Familiarity with backend concepts (e.g. Node.js, Express, or similar) Experience with at least one database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development fundamentals Comfortable using Git A strong desire to learn and develop as a software engineer

Nice to Have (But Not Essential) Exposure to TypeScript Basic understanding of cloud platforms or hosting environments Experience building internal tools or business systems Familiarity with Agile development practices
