Junior Production Assistant - Mad Cow Films

At Mad Cow Films, we create award-winning work for global brands including Pepsi, Nike, Procter & Gamble, Google, Unilever, Samsung, Mastercard, Vodafone, and Heineken. We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Junior Production Assistant to support the planning and delivery of TV commercials, branded content, social campaigns, and occasional short films.

What You’ll Do

• Support the coordination and delivery of productions from prep through to wrap
• Assist with production logistics including:
  • call sheets
  • schedules
  • crew bookings
  • suppliers
  • locations & permits
  • travel & accommodation
  • catering
  • kit logistics
  • shoot documentation
• Prepare and maintain production paperwork including:
  • movement orders
  • contact sheets
  • risk assessments
  • release forms
  • insurance documents
  • shoot notes
  • project folders
• Liaise with crew, talent, suppliers, clients, agencies, and internal teams where required
• Keep project timelines, trackers, delivery schedules, and production files organised and up to date
• Help manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of development
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment

Who We’re Looking For

You may already be in a junior production role at a production company or creative agency — but above all, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about production.

You should be:

• A strong communicator with a professional and personable approach
• Confident dealing with clients, talent, and crews
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable multitasking across several productions at once
• Familiar with production workflows and set etiquette

Skills & Software

We work on Macs, and we’d expect confidence using:

• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Microsoft Excel
• Spotlight
• Adobe Acrobat

Experience with the following would be beneficial:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Frame.io
• Adobe Photoshop
• Canva
• Adobe InDesign

An open and curious attitude toward AI tools for workflow, research, and production support is also a plus.

Additional Information

From time to time, you may be asked to attend industry events, screenings, and awards to represent Mad Cow Films.

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with experience and includes a bonus system for shoot days.
