Lead Auditor (ISO 9001)

Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) – Birmingham

£40 per hour (outside IR35) + mileage + overnight accommodation + food allowance + extensive & interesting client portfolio + long-term contract work.

This would suit a contract Lead Auditor who has other clients and is looking to add to their portfolio.

Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) responsibilities include:

Act as a Lead Auditor, visiting various supply chain sites across the UK as required. Responsible for undertaking audit activities for a range of organisations. Conduct pre audit visits and gap analysis of fabricators around the UK who are looking to attain or requalify for ISO 9001 Prepare audit plan; write reports; perform follow-up; provide certification recommendations. Ensure audit reports, finding evidence and auditor notes are submitted. Ensure client non-conformities are closed, review and analyse client responses. Provide answers to any requests arising during the technical review of files. Ensure all quality and client records related to audit and certification activities are maintained and up to date.

Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) profile: HND / Degree or similar in relevant discipline. Practitioner Member CQI (Chartered Quality Institute) or similar. IRCA Auditor (International Register of Certificated Auditors). Must have current & valid ISO 9001 External Auditing qualification 3yrs Lead Audit experience, ideally at least 1yr external Lead Audit background. Auditing experience within the Nuclear Supply Chain environment beneficial. ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 18001; ideally ISO 27001 quality management systems experience. In-depth knowledge of Quality Management systems. Experience assisting & organising audit teams beneficial. Client / stakeholder management experience. Confident communication & presentation skills.
