As a Lead Therapy Radiographer, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering and developing our radiotherapy service. You’ll lead both clinical and non-clinical teams, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement.

What You’ll Do
Lead and develop the radiotherapy service to achieve all operational objectives and maintain exceptional patient care standards Manage, support, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, governance, quality assurance, and radiation protection standards Take an active clinical role across the patient pathway, leading by example Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and service development initiatives Build strong relationships with clinicians, patients, stakeholders, and external partners Oversee training, development, and competency of team members Manage incidents, complaints, and feedback effectively to enhance service delivery Support audit, safety, and quality programmes across the centre
What You’ll Have
DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) in Therapy Radiography HCPC registration (essential) Significant post-qualification experience in radiotherapy Strong leadership and people management experience Expertise across radiotherapy processes including pre-treatment, treatment, and QA Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills A patient-centred approach with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities Evidence of CPD (MSc desirable or working towards)
