Learning & Development Officer

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (over 3 days) Salary: £30,346 – £32,951 pro rata

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Officer to support our staff, volunteers and Trustees to build the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to deliver safe, effective and person-centred support across Chrysalis.

This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you’ll deliver engaging training, champion professional development and help embed a strong learning culture throughout the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering engaging training sessions, including induction, mandatory and refresher training
• Supporting staff to develop their skills and progress in their roles
• Identifying learning needs and contributing to development plans
• Coordinating training programmes and working with external providers
• Supporting access to recognised qualifications
• Monitoring training compliance and maintaining accurate records
• Contributing to continuous improvement in care quality through learning

What we’re looking for

• Experience in learning & development, training or a care environment
• Understanding of training requirements in a regulated care setting (or willingness to learn)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative, approachable style and ability to build strong relationships
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for the people we support
