Learning & Development Officer
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (over 3 days) Salary: £30,346 – £32,951 pro rata
Are you passionate about developing people and helping to deliver high-quality, compassionate care?
We’re looking for a Learning & Development Officer to support our staff, volunteers and Trustees to build the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to deliver safe, effective and person-centred support across Chrysalis.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you’ll deliver engaging training, champion professional development and help embed a strong learning culture throughout the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering engaging training sessions, including induction, mandatory and refresher training
- Supporting staff to develop their skills and progress in their roles
- Identifying learning needs and contributing to development plans
- Coordinating training programmes and working with external providers
- Supporting access to recognised qualifications
- Monitoring training compliance and maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to continuous improvement in care quality through learning
What we’re looking for
- Experience in learning & development, training or a care environment
- Understanding of training requirements in a regulated care setting (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative, approachable style and ability to build strong relationships
- A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for the people we support
