We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer in Travel & Tourism to join our Business, Leisure & Tourism team.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of a brilliant student experience for learners across a range of Travel and Tourism courses with a focus on developing learners ready for their next steps and in turn achievement of their qualifications.
As a Lecturer in Travel & Tourism, you will teach across a range of courses across our provision and, as part of a team of specialists, contribute to the development and organisation of the curriculum.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with enthusiasm for teaching and learning. The successful applicant will be professional with high standards and fully committed to ensuring our students achieve their full potential, helping them along their learner journey.
As a Lecturer in Travel & Tourism, you should:
Hold a degree in Travel & Tourism or another related subject and/or relevant industry experience Hold GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English or level 2 equivalent as a minimum Hold a PGCE or other recognised full teaching qualification Experience of working with 16-18 year olds, ideally in a teaching capacity Experience as a teacher/lecturer in Travel and Tourism or a similar qualification
