Legal PA - Energy & Infrastructure (EPC Practice Group) Part-Time | 2 Days per Week (Thursday & Friday) | Fixed Term Contract | London
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal PA to join a leading Energy & Infrastructure team within an EPC-focused Practice Group. This part‑time role offers a varied and fast‑paced workload, supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to the smooth running of a busy practice.
About the Role This position provides a broad range of responsibilities within a dynamic practice area. You will bring strong PA experience—ideally gained within a law firm at Partner level—and demonstrate exceptional organisational skills. The role requires confidence, resilience, and the ability to communicate effectively with fee earners and clients. The successful candidate will work on a job‑share basis, covering Thursday and Friday each week.
Key Responsibilities Diary management - anticipating needs and coordinating complex schedules Inbox management - prioritising, summarising, and actioning emails daily Time recording - ensuring fee earners' time entries and narratives are completed accurately Drafting correspondence and preparing documents as required Travel coordination - arranging transport and accommodation using internal booking tools Adapting to individual working styles and providing proactive, responsive support Establishing and maintaining effective administrative systems Managing workload efficiently and working independently when needed Proofreading and conducting quality checks on all work produced Building strong working relationships with colleagues and clients Using internal systems and AI tools confidently (e.g., document management and workflow tools) Developing familiarity with legal terminology relevant to the practice area Managing document processes including file opening, archiving, and electronic/paper filing Demonstrating a solid understanding of the billing cycle and liaising with finance teams Assisting other practice groups when capacity allows Delegating administrative tasks appropriately to team support staff About You To be considered, you should demonstrate: Strong PA/secretarial experience at Partner level Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite and confidence using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Harvey, iManage) Typing speed of 70 wpm A positive, practical, and resilient approach Outstanding organisational and administrative abilities Ability to draft documents independently Experience supporting fee earners with billing and financial processes Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels Calmness under pressure and the ability to prioritise effectively Exceptional attention to detail
