What you’ll do We’re looking for an experienced Legal Support Assistant or Senior Legal Support Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with several partners and gain exposure across a wide range of work within the commercial disputes space. You’ll be joining a collaborative, high‑performing team where no two days look the same and where you'll play an important role in keeping the department running smoothly.
In this role, you'll provide high‑quality PA, secretarial and administrative support to our fee‑earners, helping to ensure a seamless client service. Your work will involve managing diaries, preparing and amending documents, handling correspondence, digital dictation, liaising directly with clients, arranging travel, and supporting general PA tasks such as expenses and file management. As you work across different areas within commercial litigation, you’ll build strong working relationships and support a broad range of matters, offering plenty of variety in your day‑to‑day role.
Who you are We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar role, ideally within a litigation team, who can confidently step into a busy environment and work proactively. You’ll need to be highly organised, personable, and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
Strong systems skills are essential and you’ll be confident using Outlook and other internal systems, have an excellent eye for detail, and be comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with digital dictation is preferred, and familiarity with 3E would be a desirable. To succeed in this position, you’ll bring a positive attitude, a strong team ethic, and the confidence to build effective working relationships across the department.
