Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship

To support the nursery team in providing high quality childcare and education for children in a safe, caring and stimulating environment while completing their apprenticeship.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
• Supporting children’s learning and development through play and planned activities
• Help with daily routines, including meals, toileting and sleeptimes
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
• Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme

Requirements

• Early years educator (level 3) apprenticeship
• Willingness to attend training sessions and complete coursework
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Understanding of safeguarding, health, and safety policies
• Ability to follow nursery policies at all times

Violet Day Nursery is a private nursery that looks after children from 3 months to 5 years old. We are open all year round except bank holidays and a week during Christmas.
