Legal Secretary - Real Estate Disputes
A highly regarded London law firm is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join its successful Real Estate Disputes team, supporting a group of Senior Associates, Associates and Trainees within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and proactive Legal Secretary who thrives on organisation, enjoys being at the centre of a busy team, and can confidently manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
The Opportunity
Working closely with fee earners, Executive Assistants and central support teams, you’ll play a key role in keeping the team running efficiently while delivering exceptional internal and client-facing support.
This position would suit someone who is highly organised, adaptable, confident managing competing deadlines, and enjoys taking ownership of their workload in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating workflows across the team
- Monitoring inboxes and calendars on behalf of fee earners
- Organising meetings, diary management and all related logistics
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Supporting billing, compliance and expense processes
- Working collaboratively with Executive Assistants, Legal Secretaries and wider business support teams
- Providing seamless support during team absences and peak periods
- Maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Legal Secretary experience within a law firm ideally within a Litigation group
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and strong document formatting skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- A proactive, team-focused and adaptable approach

Hours: Shift pattern between 8:30am – 6:30pm (7-hour working day)
