We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carer who speaks Spanish to provide support, companionship, and assistance with daily living for individuals who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming). Assisting with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids if required. Administering or prompting medication as directed. Preparing meals and supporting with feeding where necessary. Housekeeping duties include cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment. Companionship – engaging in conversation, hobbies, and social activities. Supporting with shopping, appointments, and outings. Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or well-being to family members or healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Previous experience in care (professional or personal) preferred but not always essential. Kind, patient, and empathetic nature. Good communication skills and ability to follow care plans. Flexibility and reliability. Willingness to live in the client’s home, providing support as required. Basic cooking and housekeeping skills.
