Cheshire and Wirral Partnership are seeking an experienced health care professional with extensive knowledge and expertise in the role of Local Security Management Specialist.

This position is a chance to support patients, staff and visitors across the whole of the trust geographic footprint.

You will undertake the duties of the Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) in accordance with directions, advice and guidance laid down by the Department of Health, NHS England, NHS Fraud and Security Management Service and other NHS regulatory and advisory bodies.

To provide advice, guidance and recommendations on the implementation of security policies and procedures across the trust, to maintain and enhance the security and safety of service users, staff and visitors. To oversee and monitor the operational implementation of these policy and procedures including appertaining to CCTV.

To report and provide assurance to the Board, Executives and Health and Safety Sub-Committee that security risks are being managed in accordance with statutory requirements and or NHS guidance. If necessary, raise and escalate security risks that require Executive oversight or action.

Lead the trust on the delivery and statutory requirements of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025.

To plan and develop training and education initiatives to ensure the delivery of appropriate specialised security training to all stakeholders
