Job Overview

This role is part of the outbound team and will report to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. The role will involve dealing with import and export shipments.

Job Requirements

Checking received goods against purchase orders and delivery notes Processing deliveries in SAP system Applying appropriate labels to incoming items Keeping records of received goods Dealing with issues associated with goods receipt (Identifying and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect items) Communicating with planning 5s+1 – understanding and involvement Shippers packing/labelling Supporting put away team to ensure efficient flow of goods Supporting production to ensure vac form area runs efficiently Directing goods to appropriate storage location Awareness of EH&S Policies, safety standards and COSHH/Risk Assessment

Ability to make decisions, solve problems and work efficiently in a time pressured environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team player. Ability to Work on Own Initiative with minimal supervision. Be confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Proficient Computer skills, with a good understanding of Excel and Word. SAP knowledge preferred.
