Maintenance Joiner

Charles Henry & Sons Ltd have an opportunity within the company. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Joiner to join our team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works in live environments. This is a hands-on role requiring a high standard of workmanship, professionalism, and the ability to work safely in sensitive environments such as healthcare and education facilities.

Key Responsibilities • Carry out general joinery and maintenance works, including repairs, installations, and adjustments • Work on doors, frames, locks, kitchens, flooring, and other internal fittings • Undertake reactive maintenance and minor project works • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations • Work in occupied buildings (hospitals/universities) with minimal disruption • Follow all health & safety procedures, particularly in clinical environments • Liaise with site managers, clients, and other trades professionally • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment

Requirements • Proven experience as a Joiner/Carpenter in maintenance or construction • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Experience working in public sector, healthcare, or education environments (preferred) • Good understanding of health & safety regulations • Full UK driving licence • CSCS card (preferred)
