Manual QA Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a self-driven Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. The role requires strong exploratory testing skills, the ability to work with minimal or evolving documentation, and a proactive approach to identifying issues and improving product quality.

Key Responsibilities • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different platforms and devices • Design, execute, and maintain test cases based on requirements, user stories, or exploratory analysis • Conduct exploratory testing in the absence of detailed documentation • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers • Validate fixes and perform regression testing • Ensure usability, performance, and compatibility across browsers and devices • Participate in release testing and production validation • Continuously improve testing processes and coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in manual QA/testing • Strong experience testing web and mobile applications • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) • Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) • Basic understanding of SQL for data validation • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments • Exposure to automation testing concepts • Experience with mobile testing tools and emulators
