Role Overview Arthur are partnered with a leading MGA seeking a Lead Marine Cargo Underwriter to drive underwriting strategy and manage a profitable cargo portfolio through their Lloyd’s Syndicate platform. This role combines technical underwriting, broker relationship management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities Underwrite marine cargo risks in line with appetite and governance Manage and grow a profitable international portfolio Develop and maintain broker relationships in the Lloyd’s market Set pricing, terms, and conditions for complex risks Monitor portfolio performance and exposures

Requirements Proven marine cargo underwriting experience Strong track record of portfolio profitability Established broker network Excellent commercial judgement and negotiation skills
