As the Marketing Lead, you will be at the forefront of developing brand strategies for several indications, driving product adoption and delivering positive outcomes. You will collaborate with internal partners and key lung cancer customer groups, ensuring alignment with regional and global plans. Accountabilities The Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and driving the overall marketing strategy for in-market indications and pipeline launch preparation, ensuring AstraZeneca is positioned to deliver meaningful outcomes for patients, healthcare professionals, and the wider health system. The role will translate brand, portfolio, customer, and external stakeholder insights into clear strategic priorities, then lead implementation through close collaboration with cross-functional partners including Medical, Market Access, Sales, Commercial Excellence, Diagnostics, Regulatory, and external stakeholders where appropriate. A core focus will be ensuring that strategies are patient-centred, evidence-based, and aligned to evolving clinical practice, treatment pathways, and customer needs. As an externally facing and well-connected leader, the Marketing Lead will build strong relationships with key external stakeholders to bring outside-in perspectives into the organisation, deepen understanding of the evolving healthcare environment, identify unmet needs, and inform strategy development and execution. The Marketing Lead will play a key role in shaping launch readiness, maximising the impact of existing indications, and partnering to optimise patient pathways to support earlier diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and improved access to AstraZeneca medicines. Essential Skills/Experience: Degree qualified Strong marketing leadership with a successful track record of delivering impact as well as preparing for and optimally launching new products and brands Creative marketing capabilities together with thorough commercial business acumen Experience of working within cross-functional business units and managing multiple external and internal stakeholders Understanding of Account Planning and Customer Engagement programme and processes Excellent communication and partnership leadership skills Desirable Skills/Experience: Demonstrated experience in lung cancer, including knowledge of local and international thought leaders Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system, including NHS structures and clinical pathways Experience across multiple oncology tumour areas and/or rare diseases. Experience in regional or global commercial roles.
