Purpose of the Role As an Operations Director, you will oversee multiple contracts, driving service delivery, operational efficiency, and growth. Reporting directly to the Head of M&E Services, you will ensure the alignment of business objectives with operational delivery and client satisfaction. In this senior leadership role, you will foster collaboration and innovation, while identifying and executing strategies to expand the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Key Tasks / Responsibilities: · Provide technical expertise support at all client sites, collaborating with service delivery teams as needed. · Support mobilisations and provide technical guidance on all technical aspects, including dilapidation reports. · Deliver world-class service and maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams. · Collate and present accurate reports to clients, using agreed formats. · Develop and maintain maintenance plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with service delivery teams. · Ensure technical support aligns with business policies and processes. · Stay updated on statutory changes and ensure compliance across sites. · Collaborate with the wider team to implement continuous improvement initiatives. · Support the Head of M&E services in delivery of the wider Savills Engineering strategy. · Control parts, quotes, and overtime requests within contractual agreements. · Ensure competitive pricing and preferred supplier usage. · Maintain updated records of statutory amendments. · Ensure zero disruption to client properties during shutdowns. · With Authorising Engineer, provide written switching schedules for client properties with HV. · Foster positive customer feedback and maintain high standards. · Prepare internal reporting for presenting to the Head of M&E Services. · Management of a Technical Management Team. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Core Competencies: · Engineering Status such as C.Eng, I.Eng, Eng.Tech. · Technical and professional competence. · Commercial awareness. · Excellent communication skills. · IT proficiency. · Customer-centric mindset. · Reliability and competence in delivery. · Ability to manage others effectively. · Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. · Respectful and with integrity. · Statutory, H&S, and contract compliant. · Strong presentation skills. Person Specification: · Experience in a similar leadership role. · Management and QHSE experience. · Record of continuous personal development. · Good educational background with a professional qualification. · Exceptional written and spoken communication skills. · Proven ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions. · General knowledge of BREEAM, LEED accreditation, and other current technical standards. · Proficient in SFG20, SFG30, and industry-related bodies such as REHVA and HVCA. · Flexibility regarding working hours and locations. · Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
