Medical Education Team Coordinator

Medical Education Team: Maternity cover for part-time Assistant Team Leader (0.6fte) for 9-12months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Education Team and be part of Warwickshire’s SEND Change journey.
We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic manager to join our highly regarded Medical Education Team to lead a team of Inclusion Mentors, working with learners who are unable to attend school due to ill health. Our Inclusion Mentors support learners through highly creative intervention work to ensure best outcomes and a return to an educational setting.
In addition to the operational work, the successful candidate will be required to manage several key strategic areas related to the team’s work.
Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you work with families, schools and a range of different service providers to build relationships and meet the needs of learners who may have been out of school for some time.
The team works in a range of settings: homes, community learning hubs, schools, alternative provision and via MS Teams and our Virtual Learning Platform.
