Literal Humans is hiring a Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice to join a small senior team. The role involves hands-on marketing for the agency and client accounts, supported by experienced marketers. It combines 70% practical work with 30% study on a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, with dedicated learning time. The apprentice will gain experience across a broad range of multi‑channel marketing activities, including running Literal Humans’ owned marketing channels, creating and publishing content, supporting end‑to‑end campaigns, and maintaining content calendars. Requirements
- GCSE in English (grade 9 - 4 or A* - C)
- GCSE in Maths (grade 9 - 4 or A* - C)
- Willingness to undertake off-the-job learning for 6 hours a week
- Other relevant qualifications and industry experience are a plus
Responsibilities
- Running Literal Humans’ owned marketing channels, including newsletter, blog, social media and podcast distribution
- Creating and publishing content across social, email and web platforms
- Supporting end‑to‑end campaigns: research, briefs, copy, assets, distribution and performance tracking
- Supporting client‑facing marketing work alongside senior team members
- Maintaining content calendars, asset libraries and marketing trackers
- Reviewing performance data and identifying what is working and what is not
- Developing or interpreting briefs for external or internal stakeholders
- Planning and coordinating marketing activities using marketing tactics
- Contributing to innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats
- Using research/survey software to gather audience insight
- Writing persuasive text/copy using copywriting techniques
- Building and implementing multi-channel campaigns across various platforms
- Proofreading marketing copy
- Designing and creating marketing assets using software
- Contributing to the research of external suppliers
- Organising offline and digital assets
- Using a content management system to publish content
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets for marketing activities
- Using technology and software packages for day-to-day activities
- Identifying and using data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives
- Monitoring and amending campaigns to meet budget requirements
- Reviewing campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness and optimise results
- Measuring and evaluating campaign delivery
- Recording, interpreting, and analysing customer or campaign data using data analysis tools
- Undertaking formal training, including online and internal learning events
- Participating in 1-2-1s with coach and line manager
- Observing and shadowing colleagues
- Writing learning reflections for your portfolio
