Night Care Assistant – Part Time

Alexandra House Care Home, Poyner Road, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 1QT £12.71 per hour Part Time – 30 Hours Per Week 3 Night Shifts Per Week | 22:00pm – 8:00am including every other weekend

Alexandra House is a friendly 20-bed residential care home providing specialist support for older adults living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

We are currently recruiting for a caring and dependable Night Care Assistant to join our night team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing calm, compassionate care and making residents feel safe and supported overnight.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous care experience preferred

• Ideally hold a Care Certificate

• Compassionate and patient approach

• Ability to work independently at night

• Reliable and committed

• Willingness to undertake training

✨ Training and support can be provided for suitable candidates new to care.

Main Duties

• Supporting residents with personal care during the night

• Carrying out regular welfare checks

• Assisting residents with mobility and toileting

• Providing reassurance and companionship

• Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment

• Completing accurate care documentation
