Occupational Therapist, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire

Allen Speech and Language is continuing to expand its commissioned SEND services within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing independent therapy provider delivering high-quality Local Authority commissioned services that have a direct impact on the educational access, functional independence and long-term outcomes of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

About the Opportunity We are looking for HCPC registered Occupational Therapists to undertake a combination of: ✔ Functional Occupational Therapy Assessments ✔ Sensory processing and sensory needs assessments ✔ EHCP assessment advice and provision recommendations ✔ Specialist / tribunal assessments ✔ Direct therapy and intervention planning ✔ Collaborative work with schools, families and multi-agency professionals This role offers varied, meaningful and highly rewarding work.

Who We’re Looking For We would love to hear from therapists who have: Registration with Health and Care Professions Council Experience supporting children and young people with SEND Strong assessment, report writing and clinical reasoning skills Experience writing Occupational Therapy advice for EHCPs (preferred) Knowledge of sensory processing, fine motor, functional and environmental needs Tribunal experience (desirable but not essential) Ability to work independently across education, clinic and community settings

All bands from NQT-Management will be consisdered.

Roles can be full-time, part-time, term-time only, depending on prefernce.

Will start from July onwards, with main contract starting in Septmeber.
