PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Onboarding & Training Operations Manager to join a high-performing commercial capability team within a leading global pharmaceutical organisation.
Contract duration: 12 months Hours: 25-30 per week Location: Basingstoke (hybrid) Rates: £20.77 and £27.70 p/h PAYE
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Training Operations Plan, coordinate, and execute all operational aspects of new employee onboarding programmes Manage onboarding schedules, communications, logistics, and facilitator coordination Ensure a high-quality, consistent onboarding experience for all new hires Programme & Project Management Lead end-to-end onboarding and training initiatives across multiple teams Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and stakeholder deliverables Track progress, identify risks, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders Content Management & Compliance Maintain and update onboarding and training materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance Manage version control, approvals, and documentation in line with regulatory standards Collect feedback and continuously improve training content and delivery Learning Systems & Administration Manage learning plans within LMS platforms (e.g. SuccessFactors) Support system transitions and ensure training records are accurate and up to date Provide operational support in the development of new training modules Stakeholder Management Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, commercial, medical, and compliance Work with external vendors and partners to support training delivery and content creation Events & Engagement Support planning and execution of key training events and internal meetings Coordinate annual onboarding and training calendars Learner Support Act as a key point of contact for new starters throughout the onboarding journey Provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely completion of training milestones
Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in training operations, onboarding, learning & development, or programme management Experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry would be advantageous Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience working with learning management systems (e.g. SuccessFactors or similar) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
