Operations Director

Blair West are supporting Reeves Group, to find a Group Operations Director. Reeves Group is a client-centric financial advice firm specialising in pensions, investments, and retirement planning, operating through two established entities. Following a period of strong growth, the business is seeking to appoint a senior operational leader to work closely with the Managing Director, ensuring alignment between strategy and delivery while building a scalable, high-performing operational infrastructure.

The opportunity: Providing strategic and operational leadership across the group, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to translate strategy into effective operational delivery. Leading and mentoring operational leaders, including the Head of Operations, to build a high-performing and accountable culture. Driving operational excellence through the development of systems, controls, processes, and automation. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring consistent service delivery and performance across all functions. Designing and embedding scalable operational structures to support continued business growth. Establishing and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics to drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Ensuring robust governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all operational activities.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have: Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within a service-led organisation. Demonstrable track record of working with senior leadership teams to shape and deliver business strategy. Strong experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a growing or evolving business. The ability to design and implement operational processes, systems, and controls that support scale. Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and regulatory environments. Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive data-led decision making.
