£27K–£32K Basic + Benefits Mon to Fri (9:00am – 5:30pm with rotational Saturdays and time back in lieu) We are working with one of the UK’s leading eyewear retailers to recruit an Optical Lab Technician to join their growing Glasgow ecommerce operation. The Role Operating within a fast-paced ecommerce environment, this is a varied role where you’ll support the preparation, checking and quality control of prescription eyewear orders, ensuring high standards of accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction throughout the process. This position would suit someone who enjoys working within a busy operational environment and takes pride in attention to detail, quality standards and delivering an excellent end result for customers. Key Responsibilities · Support the preparation and checking of prescription eyewear orders · Assist with prescription verification, order accuracy and frame/lens compatibility · Carry out quality control checks on completed orders · Support glazing, adjustments, alignment and remake processes where required · Work closely with customer service and operations teams to resolve order queries · Help maintain workflow efficiency and operational service levels · Ensure high standards of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail at all times About You · Previous experience within an optical lab, glazing, prescription processing or optical operations environment · Strong understanding of lenses, frames and prescriptions · High levels of accuracy and attention to detail · Comfortable working within a fast-paced operational environment · Strong organisational and communication skills · Able to manage workload priorities effectively · Positive and team-oriented approach Why Apply · Join a well-established and highly regarded organisation · Be part of a supportive and collaborative team · Competitive salary and benefits package · Monday to Friday working pattern with rotational Saturdays and time back in lieu · Genuine opportunities for career development and progression within a growing business CV’s in the first instance to:
