Cutover Manager Overview We are seeking an experienced Cutover Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities required to transition from legacy systems to a new ERP platform for our client. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on ensuring a smooth and controlled move to the new solution, with minimal disruption to business operations. You will play a key role in a major ERP transformation programme, working across business and technology teams to drive readiness, governance, and successful go-live execution. Key Responsibilities Cutover Strategy & Planning Develop and manage the end-to-end cutover strategy for the ERP implementation Create detailed cutover plans including timelines, sequencing, dependencies, and resource requirements Ensure all business and IT workstreams are aligned to key milestones and readiness criteria Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and migration partners Drive ownership and accountability across all streams involved in the cutover process Facilitate governance meetings and decision-making forums throughout the programme Cutover Execution & Go-Live Lead execution of all cutover activities including system migrations, data loads, operational transitions, and go-live tasks Ensure activities are completed in a controlled manner with clear progress tracking and issue resolution Support command-centre style management during critical go-live phases Rehearsals, Readiness & Risk Management Plan and run mock cutovers, dry runs, and readiness assessments Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies ahead of go-live Escalate critical issues to programme leadership with mitigation recommendations Communication & Continuous Improvement Provide timely status reporting, updates, and decision support during cutover activities Manage stakeholder communications across technical and business audiences Capture lessons learned and best practices for future ERP deployments Required Experience Strong experience delivering ERP transformation programmes Minimum 5 years' experience managing large-scale cutover activities Proven track record leading complex go-live transitions in enterprise environments Strong understanding of ERP modules, integration points, and data migration processes Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills Ability to manage high-pressure delivery phases with strong attention to detail Nice to Have Experience within Oracle ERP environments Formal project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline Experience working in global or multi-site organisations Contract Details 6-month contract Immediate start preferred Remote working arrangement What You'll Be Doing Leading the cutover workstream for a major ERP implementation Managing business and technical readiness for go-live Driving coordination across multiple teams and vendors Ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new platform Supporting a business-critical transformation programme
