As part of Roma’s continued growth, we are seeking an Outsourcing Manager. This is a newly created role responsible for the end‑to‑end management of Roma’s delegated servicing arrangement and strategic funding partnership, which currently support defined parts of the business.
The funding partnership represents a new and important funding line, while delegated servicing applies to specific portfolios. Both relationships are integral to Roma’s broader growth strategy.
The postholder will be accountable for these key partner relationships, operating at a senior level to build, maintain and strengthen trusted relationships with stakeholders across both organisations, including executive leadership.
The role holds overall responsibility for supplier and funder governance, contractual compliance, and performance oversight. The role will protect Roma’s commercial, operational, and reputational interests, ensure strong customer outcomes, and enable effective partnership working. The role combines relationship leadership with operational and commercial control, requiring sound judgement, credibility, and the ability to navigate complex, financial environments. It will also play a key role in shaping and evolving partnership models to support scalability, resilience, and long-term strategic alignment.

Role Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Leadership Act as the single point of ownership and escalation for Roma’s strategic partner relationships. Build and maintain trusted, senior‑level relationships, including engagement at EXCO level. Represent Roma with credibility, authority and pragmatism in all partner interactions. Operate as the strategic advisor, balancing commercial, operational and customer priorities. Contractual, Commercial and Governance Oversight Own and oversee all partnership contracts (including MSAs, Servicer and Delegate Servicer Agreements), ensuring compliance and proactive management of contractual obligations and risks. Act as commercial gatekeeper for partnership decisions and changes, maintaining clear approvals and audit trails. Lead partnership governance frameworks, including meeting cadence, chairing forums, reporting and escalation. Protect Roma’s commercial position through cost control, validation and negotiation of change requests, invoice oversight and cost recovery. Performance, Risk and Issue Management Monitor partner performance against SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments, holding partners to account. Lead the identification, escalation and resolution of partnership issues and risks. Oversee assurance activity including quality reviews, complaints monitoring, risk, compliance and operational resilience. Lead annual servicer reviews and audits, ensuring actions are delivered and embedded. Financial and Strategic Alignment Monitor funding flows and volumes with Finance, ensuring alignment to contracts and business plans. Support data‑led discussions with partners on funding, volumes and strategic direction. Drive the development and evolution of partnerships to deliver scalable, sustainable, long‑term value. Change and Documentation Management Oversee delivery of approved partnership changes, ensuring impacts are effectively governed and tracked. Own and maintain key partnership documentation, including client manuals, delegated authorities and policies. Manage ad hoc partner requests, ensuring appropriate prioritisation, approval and delivery.
Person Specification Essential Proven experience within Financial Services. Strong, demonstrable experience in relationship, partnership or senior stakeholder management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate confidently and credibly at all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to represent the organisation with authority, pragmatism and professional credibility. Proactive and self‑starting, with the appetite to help shape and evolve a developing role. Flexible and adaptable, able to pivot effectively across changing priorities and complex subject matter. Calm, resilient and professional, with experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and differing personalities. Sound judgement in understanding when to lead independently and when to involve Subject Matter Experts. Desirable Mortgage and/or origination experience. Commercial and contract management experience. Operational background within regulated financial services. Outsourcing, supplier or delegate oversight experience.
