Paralegal (Post-Exchange) | London | £30,000

We are working with a leading law firm with a strong presence in real estate and development, looking to appoint a Paralegal to join a specialist Post-Exchange team in London.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 18 months’ continuous experience in a similar environment, who thrives in a high-volume, process-driven setting and wants to build deeper expertise in the later stages of property transactions.

The Role You’ll play a critical role in managing transactions from exchange through to completion and registration, including: Handling files from exchange of contracts through to completion and post-completion registration Managing key deadlines across SDLT submissions, AP1 applications, and Land Registry processes Preparing and submitting SDLT returns within statutory timeframes Drafting and submitting AP1 applications and resolving Land Registry requisitions Reviewing and interpreting priority searches Maintaining accurate workflow trackers and ensuring deadline-driven delivery Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to provide progress updates

What We’re Looking For Minimum 18 months’ continuous experience in a post-exchange or similar property role Strong understanding of the post-exchange to registration process High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and high volumes of work Strong organisational and administrative skills, including diary and workflow management Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Working Pattern Hybrid working: Minimum 3 days per week in the office Increased office presence expected during initial training and probation
