People Partner (HR) | Build & Scale | PropTech Start-up London OR Birmingham (Hybrid - 2 days in either office) c£50k + bonus + equity
The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth, VC-backed proptech business at a pivotal stage and play a central role in how it scales.
You won’t be stepping into an established HR function - you’ll be helping to build it from the ground up.
Working directly with the CEO and leadership team, you’ll have real ownership from day one, influencing hiring, culture, and how the business integrates new teams as it grows through acquisition.

The Role This is a hands-on, high-ownership role covering the full employee lifecycle.
You’ll partner closely with leadership to support growth, while introducing structure, consistency and scalable processes across a fast-moving business.
This role will evolve quickly - from operational delivery into helping shape the future People function.
What You’ll Be Doing Supporting people integration across acquisitions (including TUPE and onboarding) Partnering with leadership to deliver high-quality hiring across the business Managing employee relations with confidence and sound judgement Contributing to performance and culture frameworks Owning core HR operations, systems and reporting Helping define and evolve the People function as the business scales
What We’re Looking For 5–8 years’ HR experience, ideally in a fast-growth or changing environments - prior experience working for a start-up 0-1, hugely advantageous! Strong grounding in employee relations and HR operations Exposure to TUPE, integrations Experience working within a group or holding company structure, with multiple businesses under one umbrella Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders A proactive, ownership mindset - someone who builds, not just maintains Looking for a step-up into a broader, more impactful role An interest in PropTech/Real Estate/ Built Environment
