Responsibilities
Participate in the topping-up service to wards and departments at Queens Hospital BurtonOnTrent
Participate in the ad‑hoc supply of stock items to wards and departments
Participate in the supply and distribution of pharmaceuticals to wards and departments
Participate in the receipt of all goods delivered to the pharmacy store, checking goods against delivery documents, recording batch numbers, expiry dates and details on the pharmacy stock control system
Ensure products are stored in the correct areas
Perform waste management and disposal of returned medicines, including hazardous items
Participate in stock checks
Provide customer‑focused service, dealing with Trust staff at the hatch or receipt area
Qualifications A pharmacy NVQ Level2 qualification would be advantageous to the post, however not essential as training and education can be provided.
Hours of Work 8:15 am - 4:15 pm
