Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Controller to come and join our team

Our finance teams are far from a support service at Crown – they are integral to our success. We are looking for a Finance Controller who can lead our site team to make the best decisions based on financial metrics.

Our manufacturing site in Botcherby is an established and important part of our Crown network, so we are looking for someone who can understand our history and tradition, while also introducing and bringing new ideas and simplification of processes to our team.

Your mission in Crown

Within this role, you will work alongside the Plant Manager to compile, source and interpret key financial performance indicators to help the site make accurate decisions. You will be responsible for achievement of operational performance by preparing, developing and analysing key financial information. In turn, you will partner the senior leadership team to interpret this information in a way they can understand to make sound business decisions.

You will be accountable for preparing and presenting budget and rolling forecasts, you will have a good level of understanding of the business operations to be able to present and interpret this information.

As part of the financial team, you will also be responsible for ensuring our financial standards and processes meet both internal accounting rules and ensure compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

About You

You will have be fully CIMA qualified and will have proven experience of manufacturing accounting experience within a site leadership role. Ideally you will be SAP conversant and have advanced knowledge of Excel with the ability to present this information for both Finance and Non Finance Managers. You will demonstrate high attention to detail while delivering high-quality work and thrive being an active team player.
